Organization overview
The Manage Organization page, its key figures, and where to find each organization-wide setting.
Your organization is your company’s space in BreezeAuth. Besides the users, groups and applications it contains, it holds the settings that apply to everyone in it: how long sessions last, which passwords are accepted, where people can connect from, and the emergency switches to use during a security incident.
These settings are on the Manage Organization page. To open it, sign in to the admin console and select Organization in the sidebar.
What you find on the page
At the top, the page shows your organization’s icon, its name, its creation date and its organization ID, with a copy button (Copy UUID). You need the organization ID to call the BreezeAuth API, for example to set up SCIM provisioning. Below, a set of figures summarizes the organization at a glance:
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Users, Groups, Applications | How many of each the organization has. |
| Authentications (24h), Authentications (30d) | Successful sign-ins in the last 24 hours and the last 30 days. |
| Managed users | How many users are managed, and what share of all users that is. |
| MFA adoption | The share of users who have set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). |
| Verified domains | How many domains the organization has verified. |
A low Managed users share usually means a domain is still waiting for verification. A low MFA adoption is a good reason to turn on Mandatory MFA.
The tabs
| Tab | What it’s for | Documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Incident response | Emergency actions: lock all applications, sign everyone out, force a password change. | Incident response |
| Security settings | Session duration, MFA, password policy, and restrictions by network and by country. | Security settings |
| Domains | Prove that your organization owns its e-mail domains. | Domain verification |
| Network Zones | Name the networks you trust, to use them in restrictions. | Network zones |
| Webhooks | Send organization events to your own systems. | Webhooks |
A tab is greyed out when your administrative role doesn’t allow you to use it.
Who can do what
| Role | On this page |
|---|---|
| Owner, Administrator | Everything: change the icon and every setting, and use every incident-response action. |
| Helpdesk | View the page, and use End all active sessions and Force a password change on the next authentication. |
| Auditor | View the page and every setting, without changing anything. |
| Billing | View the page and its figures. |
See Administrative roles for everything else each role can do.
Change the organization’s icon
The icon helps people recognize your organization, especially if they belong to several.
- On the Manage Organization page, select the button on the icon (Update organization icon).
- Choose an image: JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, up to 10 MB.
- Adjust the crop and confirm.
Note: the organization’s name can’t be changed in the admin console yet. If you need to rename your organization, contact support.
Changes are audited
Every change to the organization’s settings is recorded in the Audit Logs as Organization updated, with who made the change, when, and which settings changed.
